Jastice Madel Bio

My name is Jastice, and I’m a licensed clinical social worker born and raised in Anchorage, AK. I have a 9-year-old Cane Corso named Kayah, who loves to follow me everywhere! Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, camping, scrapbooking, coloring, spending time with family and friends, and trying new foods—I love discovering new places to eat. I can communicate in Tagalog at a conversational level and fully understand it.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, comfortable, and collaborative. My goal is to create a space where clients feel welcomed, understood, and encouraged to show up just as they are.

I work with individuals across the lifespan, with a focus on adolescents, young adults, and adults. I take a “meet you where you’re at” approach, building on each client’s strengths to achieve meaningful, realistic goals. Therapy is most effective as a collaborative process, where each session is approached with warmth, authenticity, and flexibility to meet clients’ unique needs and pace.

I draw from person-centered, humanistic, and strength-based perspectives, and I regularly incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),  Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-focused Therapy skills to help clients manage emotions, build coping strategies, and create meaningful change.

Whether you are navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, or simply seeking a space to grow and reflect, therapy can be a place for insight, encouragement, and empowerment. I’m here to support you every step of the way.
