Kristy Bushee Bio

Kristy, background is in providing services to survivors of intimate partner violence. With a compassionate approach, she offers guidance and support tailored to empower individuals in their unique healing and growth journeys. She works with individuals who are children, teens, and adults.

Kristy creates a safe, secure, and non-judgmental environment, fostering acceptance and understanding in her sessions. She addresses clients’ concerns and collaborates with each individual to set goals for improvement and change. Her approach incorporates elements of person-centered, strength-based, CBT, and trauma-informed theories, utilizing the holistic spiritual model and research-informed approaches to character development and treatment.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children, hiking and exploring the great outdoors, camping, hunting, fishing, and volunteering in her community. She is working towards her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, completing this degree in August. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has also received specialized training at R.M., a comprehensive program that offers services to two-home families, abusers, survivors, and children who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence. She is committed to providing counseling services to all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. She maintains an open and welcoming stance, ensuring equal access to her service.
